Keep the build and metadata consistent
Confirm the app name, version, build number, category, screenshots, privacy disclosures and review notes. Everything in App Store Connect should describe the behavior in the submitted build.
Pre-submission checklist
- The uploaded build has finished processing and passed basic validation.
- Screenshots, description, keywords and privacy answers match the app.
- Apps that require login include working review credentials and instructions.
- Permissions, subscriptions and payment flows have clear explanations.
Respond to a rejection
First classify the issue as metadata, functionality, permission, account access or build-related. Fix the underlying issue before resubmitting and use the review notes to explain exactly what changed.
